Dapasoft announced today that it has secured an investment from the York Angel Investors (YAI), representing the YAI’s largest deal ever. Dapasoft will use the additional funding to accelerate Corolar’s innovation and growth, and Dapasoft will offer a Microsoft cloud-based integration solution to be released by the end of 2015.

We are excited to announce that the Queensway Carleton Hospital (QCH) has selected Dapasoft’s Corolar to replace their current integration engine.
Servicing over 400,000 residents, with the help of over 1,900 healthcare professionals, QCH is currently expanding to fit the ever-growing needs of the residents in the Ottawa Valley. As a partner in delivering healthcare across the Champlain LHIN, QCH requires a solution that can reliably scale to a volume of over 2.5 million messages daily. It is also critical that their integration engine be flexible and adaptable to help support regional growth in the LHIN and respond to current and future provincial integration needs.
In order to support a rapidly growing population and a hospital staff of over 1,900, MSH migrated to a new Healthcare Information System (HIS), MEDITECH 6.0 from MEDITECH MAGIC, and required a flexible HL7 integration platform with the flexibility to develop new interfaces as MSH expands. MSH uses Dapasoft’s Corolar Integration Suite, built on Microsoft BizTalk 2013, to simplify and accelerate the integration of MEDITECH 6.0. The new solution helped MSH attain the highest Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM) score out of five hospitals in Canada that achieved the HIMSS Analytics stage 6 EMR adoption model.

We partnered with our long-term partner, Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS), on a project that enabled message transactions between MEDITECH and newly implemented EPIC in order to seamlessly track and manage patients during their treatment. Thanks to Dapasoft’s Corolar Integration Engine, healthcare providers from all departments now have real-time access to critical information on each patient from across the region, enhancing safety and reducing potential errors in the healthcare community.
