2011

Microsoft IMPACT Awards: Data Platform of the Year

Dapasoft was awarded the Data Platform of the Year award for their winning solution, Better Outcomes Registry & Network Ontario (BORN Ontario), a provincial registry aiming to improve Ontario’s maternal, child, and youth health system. Previously, Ontario’s perinatal health data was collected from conception, through birth and into the newborn period by a number of healthcare providers using a variety of technologies. Dapasoft’s solution took advantage of both Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft BizTalk to integrate data from across the province from different sources. All pregnancy screening data is collected from 5 centers across Ontario; this amounts to roughly 80,000 patients per year, and all lab orders, samples and results are loaded into the BORN Ontario system.

2009

Microsoft IMPACT Awards: Business Process and Integration Solution of the Year

Dapasoft was selected as the winner of the 2009 Microsoft Impact Award in the categories of Business Process Integration and Business Process Solution for developing an integrative platform solution. Historically, system integration at the client’s site was implemented through a large number of point-to-point interfaces. The BizTalk HL7 Corolar solution was implemented, leveraging established .NET technologies (Visual Studio, SQL Server and Windows), facilitating development, operations, and maintenance in-house, and reducing dependencies on system vendors. The standardized and optimized healthcare integration platform enabled the healthcare organization to deliver complex interfaces for the entire pharmacy department within a month.

Microsoft IMPACT Awards: SOA and Business Process Solution of the Year

Dapasoft was awarded the Microsoft IMPACT Award for SOA and Business Process Solution of the Year for migrating an existing BizTalk Server 2002 to BizTalk Server 2009 for a regional network. In order to support the growth of the Northeastern Ontario Network (NEON) partnership and further expand the NEON HRE, Corolar was used to connect the regional provider with roughly 20 separate sites and 100 interfaces. The solution enabled the healthcare network to connect multiple hospital systems together, including PACS, HIS, Labs, WTIS, EMPI and other ancillary systems across multiple sites.
